Recent Running Music
Inspired by Candice at I Have Run, I decided to post my most recent ipod downloads. I use my ipod just for running (and occasionally for sleeping on international flights) so I only buy songs that are either upbeat for fast running or musically interesting enough that I can "get lost" in them during long runs.
Here are some of my most recent fast run songs:
The Bravery "Time Won't Let Me Go"
The Bravery "An Honest Mistake"
Ke$ha "Tik Tok"
Joy Ride "The Killers"
Keane "Somewhere Only We Know"
MGMT "Kids"
Lady Antebellum "Need You Now"
Franz Ferdinand "No You Girls"
My current favorite long run music:
Arcade Fire's newest album "The Suburbs"
Caribou's album "Swim"
And I was so angry after the Chicago Marathon that I went old school with:
Pearl Jam "Once" and "Jeremy"
Hope this gives you guys some ideas!

I'll have to check out those songs.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! :)
Oooo, ooo!!! I LOVE running music! Tik tok is one of my faves and Pearl Jam always keeps me going. If we ever see each other in person again we'll have to discuss this more. I love finding new songs...
ReplyDeleteGlad you saw mine, Valerie. I'm not familiar with a bunch of yours, so I will be looking them up.
ReplyDeleteIf you were to say which song is "THE" running song all must download, which would it be?
