Weekly Work-out Wrap-up
First of all, despite rambling on and on about running lessons learned in 2010, I believe I forgot to record my total miles for 2010! I started keeping track in June; turns out from May 31st, 2010 to December, 31st 2010 I ran 763 miles! Not too shabby. I likely ran 1000 for the whole year but I have no proof, so I guess I'll just have to do that this year!
The main success of this week was my 20 miler yesterday. Nothing earth-shattering, just a good solid long run. Although, I will say, I have never done a 20 mile run this late into the winter before (the latest was the Philly Marathon in November a few years ago). I really do want to improve my running- this is the year, folks!
By the numbers:
Miles run (completed/planned): 36/38
Days of Week I Ran: 7/7
Long run: 1/1
Speed work sessions: 1/1 Speed work completed at goal time: 0 (not quite at goal time, since I walked instead of jogged during my RI's)
Hill Work: 1/1
Biking miles: 0/0
Swimming sessions: 0/1
Weights: 1/2
Days I Ate Healthfully and Sparingly: 4/7
Next week:
The taper begins, so I'm ramping up on cross training a bit...

Happy Winter Running!
